Stage 3.

More conversations
and research

Purpose of this stage: At this stage, students will develop a deeper and richer understanding of well-being and wellness through conversations and additional research. Students will also share their reflections about what students from other schools have shared.

Schedule: 1 January to 20 March 2018

Task:

  • Questions to Consider: How can we add to our community definition of well-being or wellness? Whom can we talk to? What resources could we access?

 

  • Task 1: Post in this space. Deepen understanding of wellness using the following possible methods

    • interview peers, parents, community members

    • field work / observations

    • read up about additional literature or research on wellness

    • analyze media representations

  • Task 2: Post on the Flock chat. What commonalities and differences about well-being or wellness emerge from the information shared? What surprised or interested you most about the information shared?
